Introduction

Bimetal welding wear-resistant alloy steel plate,also named wear resistant bimetal overlay plate. the base is made of ordinary Q235B steel plate, and the wear-resistant layer is composed of advanced alloy welding jointly developed by our company and scientific research institutions.

1.  Wear resistant bimetal overlay plate is a spray welding technology, which can produce composite materials with high wear resistance and corrosion resistance

2. The high-hardness wear-resistant layer has good wear resistance, and is widely used because of its moderate carbon content, comprehensive performance, good strength and weldability.

3. This plate can be easily shaped to fit the curve and contour. Welding studs or countersunk screws can be installed for easy board replacement.

4. Chromium carbide enables the Wear Resistant Bimetal Overlay Plate to be supported under extreme wear and strong impact, including truck deck lining, hopper, and closed place

5. The substrate is not fixed, the board can be selected according to customer needs. Different thicknesses are allowed according to your requirements.

Other Feature and Property

Chemical composition:  wear resistant bimetal overlay plate are manufactured by welding one or multiple abrasion resistant layers on a medium or low carbon steel base plate. The overlay alloy  has a high amount of  chromium carbide hard particles.Microstructure: The carbide (Cr7C3) volum fraction on the microstructure is above 50%.Rockwell Hardness: Chromium carbide hard particles are distributed evenly throughout the  layer, creating a strong microstructure, The hardness is between HRC58-65 and depend on the  overlay’s thickness.Wear resistance: Our test shows that the wear resistance of wear resistant bimetal overlay plate is 20 times higher  than low carbon steel and 8 times than heat treated steel.Flatness tolerance: Flatness tolerance is ±3mm/m.Thickness tolerance: Uniform overlay thickness, with tolerance within 0-0.5mm.

3. Do you provide samples ? Is it free or extra ?
Yes, we could offer the sample for free charge but freight cost shall be paid by your Party.

4. How long is your delivery time?
For Stocks, we can send the goods to loading port wiyhin 7 days after receiving the deposit ;
For production period, it usually needs about 15 days ~30 days after receiving the deposit.

5. What is your terms of payment ? 
Usually 30% deposit by TT in advance and balance against copy pf BL or L/C at sight.
